TNF Team at Camp I

Yesterday, the sunshine and calm winds encouraged us to take a load up to Camp 1 at just under 21,000ft. It took us about 4 hours from basecamp to reach Camp 1 where we had originally intended to just drop a load and head down. Instead a few of us were feeling pretty good and decided it would be a good time to take advantage of the good weather and actually set up our camp. After an hour's time, we had the platform dug and our Him 47 tent up and ready to roll. -- Hilaree

Good on you guys. I just tuned in for the first time today to find you at 21,000 ft. Incredible to imagine your mission in perfect flow right now from the other side of the world. And 17 yaks!!! Amazing.

I just left JHole today to begin our mission into Canada looking for the spirit bear and coastal wolves... in much tamer conditions. Look forward to checking in again. Good luck... and to say break a leg may be out of place.. but you get the idea. Safe travels from a Jackson Hole native. Kiss a yak for us.
