ICE
AXE IN THE CLASSROOM...
For several years now, students from around the
world have followed ICE AXE Expeditions in their
classrooms and over the internet. Many teachers
have conducted class projects where students study
the history, geography, culture and wildlife of the
places we explore. We have received countless
letters and emails -- many of which we answer over
the internet in our "live" dispatches.
Beginning in this fall, and continuing through
2006, adventurer Doug Stoup will be speaking to
junior high, high school students and youth
organizations throughout the country. Doug will
share his experiences with students in over 30
lectures. This multi-media presentation will
feature stills and video from his expeditions to
Antarctica and the North Pole. The talk is
positive, educational and motivational; focusing on
success against all odds, while taking a first hand
look at the beauty, mystery, challenges and
wildlife of our planet. For more information,
contact us.
